◾ Stepping into college is no fuss
As it is exaggarated on social media.
It feels super normal and packed with a bit of nervousness as you have no friends. But its okay mostly and in an hour or two you will be normally adjusted.
◾ Fashion is not even a concept.
I personally cared about my dressing and appearance but when I stepped into the class everyone seemed quite chilled about it, and all were dressed normally.
I actually felt light headed after this.

◾ Work load comes very slowly.
I assumed that I will have to work since day one but it wasn't the case. First week went for introduction, making friends, getting known to the campus and canteen ofcourse.
◾ Making friends was not that easy.
It is actually very hard to say that first "Hi/Hello". I couldn't get over my anxiety and had to eat alone twice. I still find it funny. When I finally opened up and said a few things, I found a friend and actually "my type" friend. Take time to make friends don't just rush in.

◾Learn to sit alone and embrace that time-
There were many moments where I had to sit in library alone or go for a random walk. The crazy part was that I didn't feel alone at all or even bored, rather it was the most enjoyable time.
Learning to survive and sustain alone in a crowded world is one of the best things I have ever accomplished.

◾ Confidence is the key-
I noticed that the confident students could easily make up a special place for themselves in the class.
The way you present,
The way you act,
Bodylanguage and vocabulary you use,
all make a great difference.
Let me suggest you a great TED TALK that helped me out-
◾Conversation skills, Can't Stress enough-
Even if the conversation starts, I can't hold it and eventually it turns boring and fades away, and I accept it as my personal flaw.
And here again I will suggest a ted talk that can help you with this.
